Koopman named Friendswood head coach, athletic director
Robert Koopman, Friendswood High School biology teacher and offensive coordinator for the football team, has been named head football coach and athletic director for the Friendswood Independent School District.
The school board unanimously approved him on Friday, Feb. 17. Koopman starts the new position on March 1.
