League City Police Department blotter, Feb. 17
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Wednesday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, Feb. 16:
BURGLARY
Feb. 15: A man reported someone used a paperclip to try to break into his vehicle in the 2900 block of Golden Cape Drive between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Feb. 15: A man in the 800 block of Rock Harbor Lane reported an unknown person stole property from his unlocked vehicle in the South Shore Lakes subdivision between 10 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Feb. 16: A man reported an unknown person stole a laptop computer, prescription medication and two thumb drives from his GMC pickup truck between 3 p.m. and 3:36 p.m. Thursday by punching the driver’s door lock. The truck was parked in the 1100 block of South Gulf Freeway at the time of the theft.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Feb. 16: A woman reported the left rear passenger side window on her vehicle was shattered with a large rock between noon and 5 p.m. Thursday while the car was parked in the 1200 block of Deer Ridge Drive.
HARASSMENT
Feb.15: A woman reported she was being harassed by an unknown person who called her residence continually between midnight Feb. 8 and 1 p.m. Wednesday and then would not talk when she answered the phone.
HIT-AND-RUN
Feb. 16: 5 p.m.: A man reported his Ford Taurus was struck by a black Ford F-150 pickup truck in the 3000 block of West Walker Street and the driver did not stop.
RECKLESS DAMAGE
Feb. 16: A woman reported an unknown person pushed a shopping cart into her vehicle and caused minor damage while the vehicle was in a parking lot in the 3200 block of South Gulf Freeway. The incident occurred between 9:30-10 a.m. Thursday.
THEFT
Feb. 15, 9:15 a.m.: A landlord reported renters stole a washer and dryer when they moved out of rental property in the 2300 block of Hampton Road.
Feb. 16: A woman reported a marine battery was stolen off a boat docked at a marina in the 700 block of Davis Road between Aug. 1, 2011, and Thursday.
Feb. 16, 2:15 p.m.: A woman reported an unknown person entered her room in the 500 block of Enterprise Avenue and took $60 from her purse.
Feb. 16: A woman in the 2200 block of Barton Falls Court reported her 14-year-old son took 112 Clonazepam pills from her prescription bottle between 4:30-6:30 Thursday and fled on foot.
