League City Police Department blotter, Feb. 18

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Thursday, Feb. 16 and the early hours of Saturday, Feb. 18:

BURGLARY
Feb. 16, 3:56 p.m.: A man reported a Dell laptop computer, prescription medication and two thumb drives as stolen from a GMC truck parked in the 1100 block of South Gulf Freeway. Police say the driver’s side door lock was punched to gain access.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Feb. 16, 4:30 p.m.: A woman reported an unknown person used a large rock to shatter the rear passenger window on a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Deer Ridge Drive.

HIT AND RUN
Feb. 16, 5 p.m.: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 3000 block of West Walker Street. The driver of a white Ford Taurus reportedly hit a black Ford F-150 and then fled the area.

RECKLESS DAMAGE
Feb. 16, 10 a.m.: A woman reported a known person pushed a shopping cart into a vehicle parked in the 3200 block of South Gulf Freeway and caused minor damage.

THEFT
Feb. 16: A woman reported a marine battery as stolen from a boat docked in the 700 block of Davis Road. The woman says the battery was taken sometime between August 2011 and January 2012.

Feb. 16, 2:15 a.m.: A woman reported $60 in cash as stolen from her purse in the 500 block of Enterprise Avenue. The suspect is described as a tall male with broad shoulders.

Feb. 16, 6:30 p.m.: A woman in the 2200 block of Barton Falls Court reported her 14-year-old son took 112 Clonazepan pills from her medicine cabinet and then fled the home on foot.

Feb. 17, 4:28 p.m.: A man reported a known 25-year-old female took his black 2007 Chevy Silverado without permission in the 2200 block of South Gulf Freeway. Police say the vehicle has spare tires on the driver’s side.
