Valve Basics Course coming to Hilton NASA Clear Lake
The Valve Manufacturers Association of America based in Washington, D.C., offers a Valves Basics Course to educate newcomers to the industry, and it will host a Valves and Actuators 101 course March 6-7 at the Hilton NASA Clear Lake.
This event will consist of lessons on valves and the systems they control. Attendees can also take part in a 'Valve Petting Zoo,' where they can access valves, actuators and controls while experts answer any questions they may have.
In addition to industry newcomers, anyone looking for a refresher course on these products can attend. The event is especially beneficial to those who work in the oil and gas, refining, chemical, power generator, water and wastewater and commercial HVAC industries.
Registration is $600 for the first person from a company or $565 for each subsequent person. Meals and a reference manual are included.
Continuing education credit is available for attending the seminar.
