Where are the lowest gas prices in Clear Lake?

Gas prices in and around the Clear Lake area were lower compared to the averages for Texas, Houston and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 84 gas stations in and around Clear Lake, Dickinson, Friendswood, Kemah, League City, Nassau Bay and Webster. As of Saturday, Feb. 11, the average price of regular unleaded gas in the Clear Lake area was $3.414 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.428, Houston average at $3.416, and the nationwide average at $3.468.

The average gas price in the Clear Lake area last week was $3.402 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in area was reported to be $3.29 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Kroger, at 151 N. Friendswood Drive at East Edgewood Drive, and CITGO, at 2414 W. Parkwood Ave. at Sun Meadow Boulevard.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.64, which was being sold at Shell, at 1910 NASA Parkway at Upper Bay Road.
