Windsong, Friendswood geography bee winners announced
The winners of Windsong Intermediate's and Friendswood Junior High's geography bees have been announced.
Ryleigh Dickens won first place at Windsong, and Rachel Kuehmle won second. At FJH, Braeden McKeen placed first, Dalton Bui in second and David McNelley in third place.
The National Geographic Bee is an annual geography contest open to fourth- through eighth-grade students in participating schools. The top 100 scorers in the state will advance to the state competition on March 30.
