The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Jan. 29 through Feb. 1:

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a felony charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 28-year-old white female lives on Coachmaker in Friendswood.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (third offense) with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 on Jan. 30, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 25 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 31 and is facing a felony charge. He resides in Laurek Valley.

A Friendswood man was arrested and charged with driving with an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension without financial responsibility (insurance) and failure to stop and give information on Jan. 30, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 25 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 30 and is facing misdemeanor charges. He resides on Osprey Court.

A woman was arrested on a charge of driving while license is suspended on Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 29-year-old white female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 1 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. She resides on Clear Creek Avenue.

A woman was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief ($50 to $500) on Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 21-year-old white female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 1 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. She resides on Ellenville.

A woman was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense) with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 and animal not restrained on Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 38-year-old black female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 1 and is facing misdemeanor charges. She resides on Sagemark Drive.

A man was arrested on a charge of failure to possess identificiation on Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 18-year-old black male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 31 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on El Dorado.

A man is facing a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief ($50 to $500) after being arrested on Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 39 years old, resides on El Droado. He was booked on Jan. 31.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous drug, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 29-year-old white female lives on Leafwood in League City.

A woman was arrested on charges of two counts of possession of a penalty group 3 controlled substance (less than 28 grams), two counts of violating a promise to appear, driving without or with an expired inspection sticker and speeding on Jan. 31, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 34-year-old white female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 31 and is facing misdemeanor charges. She resides on Edanvale.
