Friendswood High School science fair winners advance to Galveston, Houston

Winners of the Jan. 25 Friendswood High School Science Fair qualified to present their projects at two other regional science fairs.

One of the fairs, the Galveston County Science and Engineering Fair, was held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Moody Gardens Convention Center. Winners of that contest will move onto the Science and Engineering Fair in Houston, which will be held March 1-3 in the George R. Brown Convention Center.  

Judges for the PTO-sponsored Friendswood fair included workers from Exxon-Mobil, NASA and other companies and community organizations.
