Friendswood Community Education offers new online classes
Friendswood Independent School District Community Education is offering two new online classes.
In "What's New in Microsoft Office 2010," students will work with Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint and databases. The goal is to make a smooth transition from Office 2003 or 2007, or work more efficiently in 2010.
In "Photoshop Elements 10 for the Digital Photographer II," students will learn how to use filters, advanced editing tools, how to make collages and how to restore old photographs.
The courses last six weeks. Two new lessons will be released each week for a total of 12. Quizzes, tests and assignments will be given.
A professional facilitator will be available to answer questions, give feedback and lead discussions.
For more information, call Leanna Bridgett, director of FISD Community Education, at 281-482-6000 or visit www.fisdk12.net.
