Friendswood police make arrest in child porn case
A 6-month investigation into promoting and possession of child pornography has led to the Feb. 4 arrest of a Friendswood man.
Friendswood resident Julian Moya III, 38, faces three counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of promotion of child pornography after officers seized his computer on Jan. 13, according to a Friendswood Police Department news release.
Investigators allege forensic analysts found several hundred illegal images on Moya's computer.
The Friendswood Police Department, as a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and detectives from Pearland, Santa Fe and the Department of Homeland Security, participated in the investigation, according to the news release.
Moya will be transferred to the Harris County Jail on $120,000 bond.
