HS girls basketball: Manvel defeats Friendswood
Manvel defeated Friendswood 41-20 in girls high school basketball action on Friday, in a District 24-4A match-up.
The win ups Manvel to 24-1 overall and 14-0 in district play.
Brianna Turner netted a game-high 29 points in the victory.
Manvel will next host Ridge Point on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Friendswood to 16-12 overall and 10-5 in district play.
Jillian Bergeson put up 12 points in the loss.
Friendswood will next visit Cy Springs on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
