Collegiate High School to host parent information meeting

Collegiate High School will host an informational meeting for parents and prospective students at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the school's Learning Resource Center.

Collegiate High School is a College of Mainland program that allows its students to begin their freshman year of college while in high school, graduating with an associate degree as well as a high school diploma. The College of Mainland offers a wide range of classes, nationally accredited degrees and certifications, with a low student to professor ratio.

The program offers a 40 percent reduction in tuition and fees, as well as provides college textbooks. College of Mainland's core classes are also transferable to Texas public universities.
