Galveston Island to host 'A Bark in the Park' dog show at Kempner Park April 28
'A Bark in the Park' dog show will take place on Saturday, April 28 in the historic Kempner Park located at 27th Avenue and Avenue O.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will showcase a variety of dog breeds.
Pet supplies and hand-made canine items will be available from local vendors, and photographers and artists will be onsite.
A farmer's market and food and beverage booths will also be available.
Educational seminars on spaying and neutering, pet microchips, obedience training, and more will also be offered to participants.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Galveston Island Humane Society.
The entry fee is $10 per dog.
