UH-Clear Lake provost receives Hall of Fame award
Carl Stockton, provost of The University of Houston-Clear Lake, has been selected for the University of Florida’s College of Health and Human Performance Alumni Hall of Fame.
Stockton holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in health education from the University of Florida, along with a doctorate in health education from the University of Tennessee.
Prior to joining UH-Clear Lake, Stockton served as dean and Houston Endowed Chair for Education at the University of Texas at Brownsville School of Education. He has also served as department chair of Health and Applied Human Sciences at University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s College of Art and Sciences.
Stockton will be honored at the University of Florida’s Spring Awards Induction Ceremony on April 13.
