Construction to begin on Holiday Drive

Construction on Holiday Drive between Harborside Drive and Albacore Avenue will begin on Monday, Feb. 6. The project involves installing a waterline to Pelican Island.

Two lanes will be open during construction, and street parking in the area will not be allowed for the eight weeks the project is expected to take. Barricades and signs will be in place around construction and drivers are encouraged to be extra vigilant.

A detour will be in place to bypass the construction occurring between Albacore and Harborside.

This will be the first of three projects that will be needed to install the waterline. Future projects are expected to begin in late February and late March.
