New Pirate Museum recently opened in Galveston
A new pirate museum, Pirates! Legends of the Gulf Coast, opened in Galveston on Jan. 27.
The museum features interactive exhibits about the legends and myths of famous Gulf Coast pirates.
Historical reenactors at the museum tell the story of Jean Lafitte and his brother Pierre, both notorious Pirates who used Galveston as their base of operations.
The museum also has a gift shop with costumes, toys, games, and more.
Pirates! Legends of the Coast is a family oriented attraction, located at 2313 Harborside Dr. in Galveston.
