Fresh produce available at Clear Lake Shores Farmers' Market
The Farmers' Market at Clear Lake Shores will be open every Saturday morning in February.
The market will feature fresh produce from local Texas growers. This month the market will have cucumbers, red potatoes, green beans, squash, parsnip, greens, dried beans, black-eyed peas, dried fruit, nuts, fried pies, buttermilk pies, pecan pies and strawberries.
The market will also feature $10 gourmet meals for two; flower arrangements; breakfast tacos and pork sandwiches; Indian food, hot spiced tea, coffees and cappuccinos; baked goods; free-range chicken, lamb and pork; nitrate and nitrite-free non-cured sausage; raw and unfiltered honey; and free-range eggs.
The February lineup of live music includes Michael Orta on Feb. 4, Ben Reyna on Feb. 11, G Squared on Feb. 18 and Captain Rick on Feb. 25.
The Farmers' Market at Clear Lake Shores is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is located at 1020 Marina Bay Drive in Clear Lake.
