Evelyn Meador Library celebrates Black History Month
The Evelyn Meador Library will hold a presentation on Harriet Tubman on Feb. 6.
The presentation and reenactment, titled “Harriet Tubman: From Slavery to Freedom,” will showcase Tumban’s life as a slave who escaped to freedom and then helped other slaves to escape.
The presentation will begin at 11 a.m., and the library is located at 2400 Meyer Road in Seabrook.
