League City Police Department blotter, Jan. 21

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 19 through the early morning hours of Jan. 21.

BURGLARY
Jan. 20, 11:40 a.m.: A man in the 3000 block of West Marina Bay Drive reported a computer, a rifle and two handguns were stolen from his apartment.

Jan. 20, noon: A woman in the 3000 block of West Marina Bay Drive reported her apartment door was kicked open. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Jan. 20, 1:15 p.m.: A resident in the 3000 block of West Marina Bay Drive reported someone forced open the front door and went through his apartment, but left without taking anything.

Jan. 20, 2:10 p.m.: Two homeowners in the block of 901 West FM 517 reported a black male broke into the residence. The alleged suspect was described as medium brown, with black hair and standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10.

FORGERY
Jan. 21: A woman in the 1000 block of Columbia Memorial Parkway reported she wrote a teenager a $5 check to help his team with trip expenses. When the check cleared the bank, the amount had been changed to $500. She described the teen as a white male, 17 to 18 years old, with dark hair and measuring 5-foot-6.

HIT AND RUN
Jan. 19, 11:04 p.m.: A man reported the driver of a vehicle did not stop after being involved in an accident with his own vehicle in the 1200 block of East League City Parkway. The other driver was subsequently charged with failure to stop and give information during a motor vehicle accident.

MISSING PERSON
Jan. 20, 12:52 p.m.: A 17-year-old girl was reported missing in the 2200 block of Aberdeen Drive. The missing teen has blonde hair and green eyes.

Jan. 21, midnight: A man in the 2900 block of Calder Drive reported two juveniles allegedly ran away together. The white male juvenile is 5-foot-5, weighs 210 pounds and has black hair and blue eyes. The white female juvenile is described as 5-foot-1 and weighing 130 pounds.

THEFT
Jan. 20, 3:45 p.m.: A man reported his license plate was stolen off his vehicle while it was parked at a business in the 2700 block of South Gulf Freeway.
