League City Med Spa dedicated to giving back

The Oaks Med Spa has donated $27,550 in services to the community during the past year.

The spa opened in March of last year. During the short time it has been open, the spa has given considerably to the community.

Since opening the spa, owner Courtney Nixon has given away 600 gift certificates to the teachers of six Bay Area elementary schools. During a fundraiser for military personnel, the spa provided 125 gift certificates, each worth $50. Over the holiday season, the spa provided 60 refresher massages to 60 local foster parents.
