Temple Beth Tikvah hosts chicken soup cook-off
Temple Beth Tikvah’s 11th annual “Great Chicken Soup Cook-Off” will be held on Feb. 12.
Awards are given for soups in categories for matzo, vegetable, noodle/rice and international, as well as team spirit and booth design.
Cooking teams and individuals can sign up, and the cost is $18 per soup entry. Applications are available at templebethtikvah.org or in the entry of TBT. The deadline for applications is Feb. 1.
Tasting tickets are $5 and include a tasting of all soups as well as a drink and dessert. Children 12 and younger are free.
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Temple Beth Tikvah is located at 12411 Park Shadows Trail in Houston.
