League City Police Department crime report

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 12 to the early morning hours of Jan. 15:

BURGLARY
Jan. 14, noon: A man in the 4500 block of Calder Driver reported rolls of wire mesh and folding chairs were stolen out of a garage at his residence between midnight Jan. 1 and noon Saturday.

Jan. 13, 6:50 p.m.: A man in the 2000 block of South Sunset Court reported an unknown person broke into his residence between 3:30-6:50 p.m. Friday but apparently did not take anything.

Jan. 12: A man in the 3000 block of West Marina Bay Drive reported an unknown person broke into his unlocked garage and stole items from an unlocked vehicle between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 and 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12.

A woman in the 700 block of South Illinois Avenue reported someone broken into a detached shed at her residence between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 and 8:08 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12 and stole two beach cruiser bicycles and two coolers.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE
Jan. 12, 10:07 p.m.: A woman in the 2700 block of South Gulf Freeway reported an unknown person broke into her vehicle between 9:30-10:07 p.m. and stole a brown and tan Michael Kors purse. The person was possibly driving a 1990s model four-door blue vehicle.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Jan. 14, 8 p.m.: A woman in the 1300 block of Second Street reported an unknown person ran over the mailbox mounted on a 4-by-4-foot post at her residence between 7:55 -8:10 p.m. Saturday.

Jan. 13, 2 p.m.: A man reported the side of a church building in the 1000 block of East Main Street was spray painted with graffiti between 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Friday.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS
Jan. 13, 1 p.m.: A man reported a woman trespassed on his property in the 2200 block of Cibola Road between noon -1 p.m. Friday after she had been warned that she was criminally trespassing.

HARASSMENT
A man in the 5100 block of Candlewood Drive reported an unknown person has been sending him threatening text messages Nov. 26, 2011.

HIT AND RUN
Jan. 13, 11:22 p.m.: A woman reported an unknown vehicle struck her parked Ford F150 pickup truck between 9-11:22 p.m. Friday while it was parked at a business in the 400 block of South Gulf Freeway.

IDENTITY THEFT
Jan. 13, 3:29 p.m.: A woman reported someone used her credit card information between Jan. 6 and Friday to purchase items online.

RECKLESS DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION
Jan. 13: 12:07 a.m.: A man reported an unknown person hit and damaged his vehicle overnight in the 500 block of Cedar Branch Road.

THEFT
Jan. 12: A man reported a theft occurred at a bar in the 1600 block of West FM 646 between 10 -11 p.m. Jan. 6.
