Polar Plunge to take place in Galveston
The Polar Plunge will take place on Saturday, Jan. 21 at Stewart Beach in Galveston.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The first plunge is at 10 a.m. There will be awards for best costume and most money raised.
The event will help Special Olympics Texas. The cost is $50 for adults and $25 for children. All plungers will receive a commemorative T-shirt, towel, knit cap or other incentives.
