League City Police Department blotter, Jan. 11

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Jan. 8 and the early morning hours of Jan. 12:

BURGLARY
Jan. 8, 7:56 p.m.: A man reported someone broke into his residence in the 1400 block of East League City Parkway between Jan. 4 and Jan. 8 and stole several items. The alleged burglar also took the victim’s truck, but the vehicle was later recovered.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Jan. 8: A woman reported the windshield of her vehicle was damaged when an unknown person shot something at it between 3 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday while it was in the 1000 block of Walnut Pointe.

DRUGS
Jan. 10, 12:36 a.m.: Maximiliano Rios, 31, was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 and possession of marijuana in the 2400 block of West Marina Bay Drive. He was also served a warrant from Austin County.

Jan. 11, 12:47 a.m.: Victor Parsons, 29, and Krystal Hernandez, 28, were charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 (1 to 4 grams) in the 2500 block of Bay Colony Elementary Drive. Hernandez was also charged with possession of marijuana, and Parsons was also charged with having no driver’s license.

FORGERY
Jan. 10, 7:31 p.m.: Katherine Chachere, 34, was charged with five counts of forgery in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.

IDENTITY THEFT
Jan. 8: A woman reported an unknown person used her credit card in the 1700 block of League City Parkway without her consent to purchase items at a cellular phone store between noon Friday and 6:25 p.m. Sunday.

Jan. 9: A woman in the 2500 block of South Gulfway reported her Social Security number and driver’s license number were used to purchase five Blackberry cellular telephones between 12:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 10 a.m. Jan. 8.  

Jan. 9: A man in the 300 block of Hyland Lane reported someone cashed two checks Dec. 22 and Jan. 8 from an account closed four years ago.

THEFT
Jan. 9, noon: A woman in the 2000 block of Kingsway Drive reported two checkbooks were stolen between noon Jan. 4 and noon Jan. 5 from her residence.

Jan. 9, 10:23 p.m.: Daphne Britton-Sims, 50, was charged with theft/shoplifting with two or more previous convictions in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.

Jan. 9: A woman in the 900 block of West FM 517 reported a Nintendo DS and a Nintendo DS game was stolen between noon Jan. 3 and noon Jan. 4.
 
Jan. 10, 4:10 p.m.: Brian Walker, 44, was charged with theft in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.

Jan. 10, 10:24 p.m.: Amanda Parker, 20, and Shelby Wright, 20, were charged with theft of property with a value of $50 to $500 in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.
