Friendswood launches website for private monetary donations

The City of Friendswood has launched a website to accept private donations from the public to benefit the city's programs and projects.

The website allows individuals and organizations to have a more active role in improving the community. Currently, donors are able to contribute to the city's Animal Control Division, which recently opened a new animal shelter. Donations to other projects will be available in the future.
