League City Police Department blotter, Jan. 8
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Jan. 7 and the early hours of Jan. 8:
Jan. 7, 5:20 p.m.: A woman reported her 19-year-old son punched her in the head and then took her cell phone from her when she attempted to call for help during a disturbance at a home in the 500 block of Cedar Branch Drive.
Jan. 7, 3 p.m.: Michael Goins, 51, was arrested on charges of burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is accused of stealing appliances, electronics and ammunition from a mobile home in the 2000 block of Tucker Road. Police say a second suspect was also involved.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Jan. 8, 6:05 a.m.: Toby Cornwall, 31, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to report an accident involving damage to a vehicle in the 3000 block of East League City Parkway.
Jan. 7, 2 p.m.: A man in the 100 block of Casual Shore Court reported an unknown person used his address and credit card number without permission to order iTunes gift cards from Walmart online.
Jan. 7: A woman in the 4000 block of Master Drive reported a known person repeatedly sent her text messages despite warnings from law enforcement that she did not wish to have any contact or receive any communication from him.
HARBORING A RUNAWAY
Jan. 8, 1:18 a.m.: Alexander Soto, 19, was arrested on a charge of harboring a runaway in the 300 block of Waco Avenue.
HIT AND RUN
Jan. 7, 2 p.m.: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 3200 block of South Gulf Freeway. The driver of a unknown vehicle reportedly hit a Honda Pilot in a parking lot and then fled the area.
Jan. 7, 11:14 p.m.: Bradley Cook, 31, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication with three or more previous convictions in the 600 block of East Main Street.
