Seabrook hires new marketing manager
LeaAnn Dearman joined the City of Seabrook as its first marketing manager on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Dearman's new duties will include media relations, external and internal communication, maintenance and development of the city’s website and Channel 16, plus promoting city projects, events and happenings.
Prior to her new position, Dearman worked for the City of Midland as its multimedia developer for six years and was responsible for the management and development of media assets for the city, which included the city’s website, Intranet, government access channel and print publications.
Prior to Midland, Dearman taught at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa. She taught freshman- through senior-level communication and media development courses.
Dearman holds a master of science degree in interactive communication from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn., and a bachelor of arts in communication from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
