League City Police Department blotter, Jan. 4

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Jan. 1 and the early morning hours of Jan. 4:

DRUGS
Jan. 2, 11:47 p.m.: Jonathan Fleener, 18, was charged with possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana in the 1700 block of League City Parkway.

Jan. 2, 10:55 p.m.: Michael Demel, 22, was charged with possession of a substance in Penalty Group 3.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Jan. 2, 3:23 a.m.: William Johnson, 23, was charged with driving while intoxicated in the 1400 block of West League City Parkway.

HIT AND RUN
Jan. 2, 1:54: A woman reported a Hispanic man struck her mailbox with his vehicle in the 600 block of Beaumont Street and then left the scene.

THEFT
Jan. 3, 2:58 p.m.: Christine Deem, 41, was charged with theft of property valued at less than $1,500, with two or more previous convictions, in the 1700 block of FM 646.

Jan. 3: A man reported jewelry and cash stolen from his bedroom between 4:15 p.m. Monday and 8 p.m. Tuesday while he was having a party at his residence in the 100 block of Warm Spring Lane.

Jan. 2, 10:51 p.m.: Norma Rodriguez, 35, was charged with theft of property valued between $50 and $500 in the 1700 block of FM 646.

Jan. 3, 8 a.m.: A woman reported an air conditioner stolen from a house she is selling in the 3100 block of Meadow Bay Road. The theft occurred between midnight New Year’s Day and 8 a.m. Jan. 3.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE
Jan. 3: A man reported his gray Ford F-250 pickup truck was taken from his driveway in the 2700 block of San Marco Lane between 2 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. while he was out of town.

Jan. 3: A man reported his Harley Davidson motorcycle was taken between Dec. 31 and Tuesday from his driveway.
