Police arrest shooting suspect
A 26-year-old man has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery in connection with the shooting of two residents of the Ellis Landing subdivision the morning after Christmas.
Police arrested Travis Kanady Wednesday after receiving a tip about the shooter’s identity a day earlier. Investigators say the believed the tip was prompted by widespread publicity of the shooting, according to a League City police news release.
Kanady is in custody in lieu of $100,000 bond.
