League City Police Department blotter, Jan. 2

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Jan. 1 and the early hours of Jan. 2:

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Jan. 1, 10 a.m.: Two men reported damage to vehicles parked in the Jordan Cove Apartments, 901 West FM 517.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Jan. 1, 4:55 a.m.: A man reported a physical altercation in the 3000 block of Knightsbridge. A known person reportedly assaulted the victim, causing injuries. The suspect is also accused of firing a handgun during the incident. Police say an arrest is pending.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Jan. 2, 3:23 a.m.: William Johnson, 23, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a BAC above .15 in the 1700 block of West League City Parkway.

MISSING PERSON
Jan. 1, 8:05 p.m.: Staff at a treatment facility in the 1100 block of Devereux Drive reported eight people as missing from the facility. The men and women are reportedly court-ordered to attend the facility and allegedly ran away together.

THEFT
Dec. 31, 5 p.m.: A woman reported a known person took a viola from her home in the 500 block of Country Lane. Police say the male suspect later pawned the instrument without the owner’s consent.

Jan. 1, 5 a.m.: A woman reported a known male grabbed a set of keys from her hand and threw them into a dumpster in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

Jan. 1, 7 a.m.: A woman reported a known person took a vehicle without permission from the 1400 block of West Main Street.

Jan. 1, 2:52 p.m.: Johnny Leal, 48, was arrested on felony charge of theft – with two or more previous convictions in the 200 block of South Gulf Freeway.

Jan. 1, 4 p.m.: A woman reported a vehicle as stolen from a private parking lot in the 3200 block of West Marina Bay Drive.

Jan. 1, 5:44 p.m.: Patricia Wilkins, 32, was arrested on a theft charge in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.
