Friendswood Community Services Department to offer Men's flag football league

Registration takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Community Services Department in City Hall, located at 910 S. Friendswood Drive.

The City of Friendswood Community Services Department is offering a Men’s Flag Football League starting Monday, Jan. 30, and Thursday, Feb. 2.

The double-header league will run for six weeks, plus a tournament with prizes going to the top two teams.

Games, which will follow Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Flag Football rules, are played on Mondays for the Competitive division, on Tuesday evenings for the Recreational division and on Thursday evenings for the 35 years and older division.

All games will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be played at Centennial Park, located at 2200 S. Friendswood Drive.

The cost to participate is $230 for umpire fees and $80 for a forfeit fee deposit. All checks must be made payable to the City of Friendswood.
