Representative from Friendswood earns 'Courageous Conservative' award
State Rep. Larry Taylor (R, Friendswood) recently received The Texas Conservative Coalition's Courageous Conservative award.
The award is given in recognition of legislators' efforts to advance, support and vote for conservative policy positions in the 82nd Texas Legislature, according to a press release.
"The 82nd Legislative Session was marked by many conservative achievements, and Representative Taylor deserves special recognition for his role in helping win the debate on these issues," TCC Executive Director John Colyandro said in the release. "The policy initiatives advanced by Taylor and the other 'Courageous Conservatives' will help keep Texas on a path toward growth and prosperity."
"I'm honored to be a recipient of the 'Courageous Conservative' award, and look forward to continuing my record of strong fiscal discipline and requiring government to live within its means," Taylor said.
