Four arrested on murder charge in death of Webster man
Four people are facing a murder charge in the Nov. 16 shooting of a man at 15600 Old Galveston Road, according to a Houston Police Department news release.
The four suspects are identified as Jessie Lurue Nelson Jr., 19, Ralph Ernest Alonso, 23, Angelica Lee Serrano, 20, and Daniel Allen Porter, 22. All four are charged with murder in the 177th State District Court and are accused of killing Warren Keith White, 29, of Webster, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers R. Moreno and L. Lovelace said in the release that White was at work at about 9 p.m. when he was told unknown male suspects were tampering with his vehicle. When White went outside to confront the males, he was shot several times. The suspects allegedly fled in a small red or maroon vehicle.
An investigation led detectives to name Nelson, Alonso, Serrano and Porter as the suspects in this case. Serrano was arrested Nov. 18 and Alonso turned himself into police later that same day. Nelson and Porter were arrested in La Marque Nov. 19 by Houston homicide investigators, with the help of Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and Galveston County Precinct 8 deputies.
