Police investigate fatal shooting
Houston police are investigating the death of a Webster man who was shot Wednesday when he approached a group of men near his vehicle.
Police identified the victim as Warren Keith White, 29. White suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene at 15600 Old Galveston Road, according to a police department news release.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers R. Moreno and L. Lovelace reported White was at work around 9 p.m. when he was told a group of unknown male subjects were tampering with his vehicle. When White went outside to confront the men, he was shot several times, and the suspects fled in a small red or maroon vehicle.
