Behavior Therapy & Learning Center to offer 'social skills' parties
Behavior Therapy & Learning Center will present a “Social Skills Party” on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Clear Lake Recreation Center.
Behavior Therapy & Learning Center will present a “Social Skills Party” on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Clear Lake Recreation Center.
The Thanksgiving-themed party will let children practice skills such as communication, self-regulation, dealing with conflict, making friends, understanding emotions and teamwork.
Included with this month’s service are social skills assessments, progress notes and tips on how to continue a child's progress outside of the party.
Siblings are welcome to participate at half price.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and the Clear Lake Recreation Center is located at 16511 Diana Lane in Houston.
