Friendswood Aquatic Center to offer water aerobics class

Water aerobics classes will be offered at the Friendswood Aquatic Center from Tuesday, Nov. 29, through Thursday, Dec. 15.

Both morning and evening classes will be offered and will be led by certified water aerobics instructors. Each class is one hour.

The Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be offered in the evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and in the morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The cost is $22.50 and the class is limited to the first 25 enrollments.

These classes are deep-water only and use Aquajogger equipment such as a buoyancy belt. Other Aquajogger equipment will be added under the guidance of the instructor. Participants should be comfortable in deep water.

To sign up, visit the Friendswood Aquatic Center, 1115 Falling Leaf, from 6 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
