Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre to present 'The Nutracker'
The Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre will present “The Nutcracker” from Friday, Dec. 2, through Sunday, Dec. 11.
“The Nutcracker” tells the holiday tale of Clara and her journey with her most treasured Christmas gift, the Nutcracker. The night after receiving the gift, she sneaks down to the Christmas tree to check on the doll and falls asleep with it in her arms. But when the clock strikes midnight, the Nutcracker doll becomes a prince fighting off rats and the Rat King to protect Clara.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, Dec. 3, Dec. 9, and Dec. 10. Additionally, there will be 2 p.m. performances on Dec. 3, Dec. 4, Dec. 10 and Dec. 11.

Performances will be held at he University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Bayou Theatre, located at 2700 Bay Area Blvd.
