Friendswood Junior High students hand out free high-fives

Friendswood Junior High’s new ARK (Act of Random Kindness) club handed out high-fives to students and staff s they arrived at school.

The club is the result of a challenge by teacher Autumn Bockart to her sixth-grade students to commit one act of random kindness per month.

According to the press release, students made signs and hit the parking lots, and “soon everyone joined in the fun” and “[p]arents drove away in their cars smiling.”
