Friendswood to host children's basketball competition
The City of Friendswood will be hosting a local competition of NBA/WNBA Fit Dribble, Dish and Swish on Thursday, Nov. 17.
The program provides boys and girls age 7 to 12 with the opportunity to showcase their fitness through a dribbling, passing and shooting skills competition.
Boys and girls will compete separately and may qualify to compete in up to three levels, including the national finals in Orlando, Fla.
The free event will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stevenson Park Basketball Court, located at 1100 S. Friendswood Drive.
