HS Playoff Volleyball: Deer Park defeats Clear Creek
In the 5A Regional quarterfinals, Deer Park defeated Clear Creek in girls high school volleyball playoff action on Tuesday.
The Deer have now won three straight playoff matches, defeating La Porte and Clear Lake previously. They swept Clear Creek in three games, winning by the score of 25-18, 28-17 and 25-17.
Haley Mueller led the Deer with 15 kills in the victory.
The Wildcats had defeated Kempner and Sterling to get this far, but their playoff run is over.
Ashley Smith led her squad with 14 kills in the loss.
