Channelview HS grad Jackie Hinton runs all over Northwestern State
Channelview High School graduate Jackie Hinton led a dominant third quarter attack that carried the University of Central Arkansas Bears to their sixth consecutive victory Saturday, a 45-20 win over the Northwestern State Demons in Southland Conference action at Turpin Stadium. Hinton rushed for 83 yards in the victory.
Hinton played in three games for the University of Houston in 2008 before receiving redshirt.
At Channelview, he was ranked No. 71 nationally by scout.com and No. 101 in the Texas Top 110 by SuperPrep, and was a.member of the Houston Chronicle Area Top-110 Team.
