Clear Creek ISD addresses school closure rumors
Clear Creek ISD believes that schools are the center of the community and has no plans to close any, according to the press release.
Clear Creek ISD has released a statement assuring residents that there are no plans to close down any schools, contrary to circulating rumors.

The districts are unbalanced with some school populations growing quickly while others shrink. In order to address this issue, a citizens committee is being formed to review attendance boundaries.
This year Clear Creek ISD has lost $14.5 million and is expected to lose another $7.5 million in the next school year. In the press release, school officials say that funding problems will persist until changes are made in the ways the state funds education.
