Girls HS volleyball playoffs: Clear Lake defeats Austin
Clear Lake defeated Austin in the 4A Bi-district volleyball playoffs Tuesday.
Clear Lake (now 22-15 on the season) won the match in five games, 25-27, 26-24, 22-25, 25-15 and 18-16.
Kiara Wright had 29 kills in the marathon playoff thriller.
Austin ends their year at 25-17 and 15-4.
Up next, Clear Lake will battle Deer Park in the 5A Area playoff round Thursday at 6 p.m.
