Christus St. John Hospital in Nassau Bay announces November events
Christus St. John Hospital has announced the following events for November:
A CPR and child safety class is being offered from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. Participants will learn CPR, for all ages, from the American Heart Association, as well as first aid for children. The event will cost $45.
The hospital will offer a class on soothing a fussy baby from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. The class will teach parents different ways to calm and upset baby. It will cost $45.
Christus St. John is offering a condensed two-day Prepared Childbirth Class from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13. The class will include instruction on breathing, relaxation and pain management. The class costs $100.
All events will be in Conference Room 2A of the hospital, 18300 St. John Drive. Space is limited, so interested parties should register early by calling Lori Baugh at 281-523-2021.
Child birth classes will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays from Nov. 29 to Jan. 10. Classes will help expecting mothers by teaching them labor and breathing exercises, how to manage pain without medication, breast feeding, postpartum depression and infant care. The six-week course costs $100.
