Friendswood school raises more than $8,000 for charities
The Primrose School of Friendswood recently donated more than $8,000 for the Primrose Children’s Foundation.
Each year, Primrose Schools across the nation raise money for the Primrose Children’s Foundation as well as hundreds of other local charities.
In the past two years, Primrose School of Friendswood has been recognized as one of the top three contributors to The Primrose Children’s Foundation, raising more than $17,000.
“The ways in which the families and the Friendswood community have embraced our efforts truly touches my heart,” said Linda Arthur, owner of Primrose School of Friendswood, in a press release. “We strive to teach our students the value of making a difference in the world.”
The Primrose Children’s Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on the needs of young children and their families. It was created to combine fundraising efforts from individual Primrose Schools.
Founded in 1982, Primrose Schools provides early childhood education and childcare services in more than 230 schools in 16 states.
