The Peer Assistance Leadership students from Springs, Creek, Lake and Brook, as well as volunteer firefighters from the League City Fire Department, will collect donations at the weekend's varsity football games to help victims of the Bastrop wildfires.
The games will be Springs vs. Brazoswood at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3; Creek vs. Lake at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4; and Brook vs. Dickinson at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The fund will help affected families find new homes, replace tools or accessories they need to work and help students return to school. There will be volunteers posted at the gates and stadium entrances collecting donations.
