Bay Oaks Country Club to host celebration of Marine Corps birthday
Houston will celebrate the 236th birthday of the Marine Corps on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Bay Oaks Country Club.
The event, which will also celebrate all Veterans in Houston, will support the U.S. VETS-Houston. Marines, friends of the Corps and members of the other U.S. Armed Forces, active duty, reserve or retired, are invited to attend. The celebration is also open to both officers and the enlisted, along with their guests.
Marines are asked to wear their Evening Dress B or Blue Dress A uniform. And civilians are asked to wear cocktail dresses and coats and ties.
Those who wish to attend must RSVP by Monday Oct. 31. They can RSVP and buy tickets at the website.
The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the Bay Oaks Country Club is located at 14545 Bay Oaks Blvd. in Houston.
