Where are the lowest gas prices in Clear Lake this week?

Gas prices in and around the Clear Lake area has increased by a few cents, data from Gasbuddy.com shows.

Users of the price-tracking website have recently reported the rates for 87 gas stations in and around Clear Lake, Dickinson, Friendswood, Kemah, League City, Nassau Bay and Webster. Based on these rates, the average gas price for the Clear Lake area was $3.221 per gallon, as of Oct. 18. Gasbuddy.com listed the averages for the state, metropolitan and country were $3.321, $3.262 and $3.493, respectively.

Last week's average for the Clear Lake area was $3.221 per gallon.

The lowest gas price in the area was reported to be sold by CITGO, located at 2414 W. Parkwood Ave. and Sun Meadow Boulevard in Friendswood. This station sold a gallon of regular unleaded gas at $3.07.

The most expensive gas stations in the Clear Lake area were Shell at 1690 W. Main St. and IH-45 in League City, and Shell at 1910 NASA Parkway and Upper Bay Road in Nassau Bay. Both of these stations were charging $3.49 per gallon of regular unleaded gas.
