Krist Samaritan Center announces two promotions
Krist Samaritan Center recently announced the promotion of Pauline Gallien and Dr. William July.
Gallien, who will retain her previous title of director of development and community relations, was promoted to chief operating officer. And July, who will continue to serve as a licensed psychologist for the center, was promoted to director of MindWorks Testing.
“Pauline and Dr. July’s experience and capabilities are a great asset to Krist Samaritan Center,” said clinical psychologist and Krist Samaritan Center executive director Dr. Gerald DeSobe in a press release. “As the need for affordable counseling services in Houston grows and the number of services we offer increases, the dedication of talented professionals such as Pauline and Dr. July becomes even more crucial to our continued success.”
With more than 20 years' experience in Houston nonprofit management, Gallien worked for many years at SER-Jobs for Progress and Interfaith of The Woodlands. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
July is a licensed psychologist with specialized experience in a variety of psychological tests and assessments. He formerly served with the Harris County Sheriff's Department and the Houston Metro Police. He is an adjunct faculty member in the psychology doctoral program at the University of Phoenix and earned a doctorate in psychology at the Harold Abel School of Psychology at Capella University.
