Clear Lake man sued over stolen property
A Clear Lake man is being sued over claims he stole from his Baytown employer.
Lagniappe Investments, doing business as Jack’s Grocery No. 22, filed a lawsuit against Asif Mustafa, of Clear Lake, citing conversion, tortious interference with prospective business, civil conspiracy and fraud.
The plaintiff says that between Jan. 1, 2008 through April 27, 2010, its former employee, Mustafa, took money, goods and personal property from the Chevron convenience store it owns in Baytown.
The plaintiff is seeking actual and exemplary damages, as well as attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Micky Das.
